The Weinsteins certainly know what the people want: more movies about WWII, and more Benedict Cumberbatch. The new trailer for The Imitation Game has plenty of both of those things, with Cumberbatch starring as Alan Turing, the British mathematician whose work helped crack German codes. Keira Knightley plays his friend Joan Clarke, who, if this trailer is any indication, gives Turing a lot of motivational speeches. The film also stars Mark Strong (Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy), Matthew Goode (The Good Wife), and Allen Leech (Downton Abbey). Morten Tyldum (Headhunters) directs.

Though it‚Äôs unclear from the trailer, the film will also delve into the more tragic, non-Nazi-fighting aspects of Turing‚Äôs life. Turing was prosecuted in 1952 for¬†‚Äúgross indecency‚ÄĚ (i.e., having a gay relationship in the ‚Äô50s) and killed himself two years later.
